I really enjoy my Jersey Woolys. Please don't let that little word "Wooly" shy you away from the breed. The breed was created to have a low maintenance coat. Their wool can be maintained with a good once over every 10 to 14 days. All that extra wool can be used for spinning or a ton of other crafts. I like to place a strand on top of my sheep wool when I spin it. The bunny wool also felts nicely to the sheep wool for mittens. The temperament of the woolys in our barn is wonderful. They like to be with people and enjoy being the center of attention. I take the woolys to my therapy office to help take the edge off and "de-stress" my clients. Quite a few of my clients have a special rabbit that they look for when they come for their treatment.
